Design Review

The design guidelines protect your property values and preserve the community's character and aesthetic.

Approval is required for all landscaping and exterior or architectural changes. Per the Governing Documents for Silver Creek Village, the Design Review Committee (DRC) must review and approve any exterior modification or project to a home.

Send your online application, site plan, and any additional supporting project documentation.
You must include a site plan; do not submit requests without an attached drawing.

This application is for reviewing and approving exterior improvements as described. Only items listed on the application and clearly shown on plans will be reviewed. Approval is for Association purposes only; owners must still seek compliance approval with state, county, or city jurisdiction regulations, building codes, zoning ordinances, or safety requirements. Approval will expire unless work is completed within 180 days of review. Please note that the Committee has 30 days to review your application before making any decisions.

A completed application must include a site plan or drawing, or it will not be accepted:
All submissions must include a site plan drawn to scale, noting the following: (a) property lines, (b) street, (c) house, (d) setback dimensions, and (e) dimensions.

Landscaping improvements must include (a) a legend depicting all materials to be used and (c) size specifications of all materials must be provided. Having a clear and complete application will expedite the process. See the design review guidelines for the approved plant list.

Structural improvements, such as basements or additions, must be stamped by the DRC committee. The County will require this stamp for building permit processes. Please email designreview@silvercreekvillagecommunity.com for requests for stamped plans. Include: (a) Site plan, (b) Elevation plan, (c) all proposed exterior colors and materials must be depicted in the plan.

After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation. Subsequently, you will receive another email indicating whether the Design Review Committee has approved or denied your project. Once approved, you may proceed to schedule or begin your project.

NOTE: When entering your address in the online application, only enter your home address number. For example, if the address is 6595 Village Green Trail. You will only enter "6595."
